Appointment Types: how do I choose?

Sole visits are great for:

  • Initial consultations, without the Personal Wellness Plan package, focusing on key health areas
  • Taster – not sure if you want a package
  • Motivational ‘Check-up’ and coaching session
  • Health goal review
  • PWP revision
  • Conditions and health issues that may require minimal maintenance, e.g. menstrual headaches (assuming no other chronic cause), hay fever, sinusitis, non-complex skin rashes
  • Herbal mix/Supplement review
  • Acute conditions, focusing on symptomatic relief for one health condition

Packages

Each package saves you money compared to one off sole visits and you have the flexibility of using your session credits for a PWP review, 1 hour sessions, or other services Nature’s Medicine will be offering in the future.

3 Session Packages – 

A 3 session education package (either 30, 45 or 60 minutes) supports a personal wellness plan and goals such as:

  • Short term motivational review
  • Nutrition or Health goal review
  • Immune system tune-up
  • Acute care follow-up
  • Skin issues – eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis
  • Children’s health issues & minor respiratory ailments
  • ‘Minor’ and acute digestive issues such as dyspepsia, heartburn, constipation

5 Session Package – 

A 5 session education package (30 minute sessions) may support a personal wellness plan and goals such as:

  • Some children’s health issues, e.g. eczema
  • Short term weight loss goals (4-6kg to lose)
  • Pre-diabetes coaching
  • Short term athletic goals
  • Basic nutrition, lifestyle and wellness coaching
  • Detoxification
  • Pre- and Post-natal depression
  • Chronic skin issues/complaints
  • Chronic immune system issues
  • Chronic digestive system issues, including food intolerances
  • Food intolerance investigations and elimination diet protocols
  • Specific coaching issues

10 Session Package –

  • A 10 session education package (30 minute sessions) may support personal wellness plans such as:
  • Long term weight loss goals (6kg+) where a weekly ‘weigh-in’ keeps you on track
  • Longer term athletic goals
  • Healthy ageing program
  • Lifestyle diseases and degenerative disorders
  • Chronic NIDDM diabetic & associated conditions
  • Chronic digestive issues such as IBS, Crohns, Candida, intestinal dysbiosis,
  • Chronic skin issues
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Mental health issues such as anxiety, depression & mood disorders
  • Food intolerance investigations and elimination diet protocols
  • Multiple coaching issues

Personal Wellness Plan Package – something more in-depth?

If you’re looking for something more in-depth with a personally tailored 3-6 month programme specific to your needs then you may want to consider the Personal Wellness Plan (PWP) package.

Personal Wellness Plan Package includes:

  • 1.5 hrs in the clinic
  • Initial comprehensive health history questionnaire
  • A thorough health history review
  • Current symptom review
  • Review of priority health goals
  • A panel of indicative in-clinic tests to obtain a baseline (this helps to manage and measure improvements), including urinalysis (please bring a urine sample)
  • Healthy Edge report using BioElectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) that can measure key biometric figures including weight, body fat percentage, water percentage, muscle mass percentage and bone mass. This technology is within 5% of DEXA (Dual Emission X-ray Absorptiometry – hospital grade standard)
  • Detailed explanation and descriptions of health processes that will give you the greatest success
  • An initial Personal Wellness Plan prescription
  • 30 minutes researched Personal Wellness Plan (emailed to you)
  • A review of your most recent medical blood tests (copies provided by you).
  • Personal Wellness Plan recommendations and education opportunities
  • A 10 minute coaching call one week after your initial visit (at a pre-agreed time) to ensure no major barriers to progress.
